Jackson County Forth of July Celebrations

This Fourth of July, several Grange Co-op team members and their families joined in the patriotic spirit at local Independence Day celebrations. Our associates proudly participated in Central Point's Freedom Festival and Eagle Point's 4th of July Celebration, where community members came together to honor our nation's history and pay tribute to our brave servicemen and women. These dedicated team members chose to spend part of their holiday weekend connecting with neighbors and celebrating what makes our community special. The cooler weather was a welcome bonus as we proudly displayed the Red, White and Blue and shared in the joy of this meaningful holiday!

Southern Oregon District FFA

Local FFA students recently gathered at a rustic retreat location where they spent several days building stronger team connections, developing leadership abilities, and deepening the friendships that make Oregon FFA such a special organization. Grange Co-op was honored to be invited to present a session on how FFA experience creates real advantages for students entering the job market with local employers like ours.

Our team conducted a presentation about translating FFA skills into career opportunities, facilitated mock interview practice, and concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session. What impressed us most was witnessing these young people demonstrate not only their strong work ethic, but also their ability to communicate their strengths effectively, lead with genuine confidence, and present themselves with remarkable professionalism.

We're grateful to Oregon FFA and the Southern Oregon District for allowing us to work with such outstanding students. The future of agriculture—and really, every industry—is truly in capable hands. Experiences like this reinforce exactly why we're passionate about supporting our community's next generation of leaders.

Blue Ribbon Award

We're honored to share that Grange Co-op was recently selected by the Yuba-Sutter Fair Board of Directors to receive the prestigious "Western Fairs Association Blue Ribbon Award." This special recognition celebrates our ongoing commitment to supporting our community, investing in youth development, and championing local agriculture.

Receiving this acknowledgment means so much to our entire team. The warm words of support we heard from many of you during the awards ceremony truly touched our hearts, as well as those of you that stopped by our Fair booth throughout the fair. Your encouragement and friendship inspire us every day.

This award reflects not just our efforts, but the strength of the partnerships we've built throughout our community. We're proud to call this area home and grateful to work alongside neighbors who share our passion for supporting local agriculture and nurturing the next generation. Thank you for being such an important part of our story!

Fair Season in Full Swing

Fair season is in full swing, and we couldn't be more excited to connect with communities throughout our region! Our team has been busy attending auctions, setting up booths and meeting wonderful people at several county fairs, including the Jackson County Fair, Yuba-Sutter County Fair, Shasta District Fair, and Trinity County Fair.

Each event brings its own unique charm and gives us the chance to celebrate local agriculture, meet new faces, and catch up with longtime friends and customers. There's something truly special about the community spirit that comes alive during fair season—from 4-H and FFA youth showcasing their hard work to families enjoying traditional fair fun together. We're grateful for every conversation, every smile, and every opportunity to be part of these cherished community traditions.
