ABOUT GRANGE CO-OP
Ninety-nine Rogue Valley farmers invested $10 each to form a cooperative. Little did they know Grange Co-op would grow into a multi-million dollar business providing services to patrons throughout Southern Oregon and Northern California.
Committed to the agricultural community, Grange Co-op continues to expand with new products and services every year. Grange Co-op’s feed mill is the only certified organic mill in Southern Oregon. It provides local farmers and ranchers with sacked or bulk Rogue Quality Feeds and certified organic feed produced locally to best meet local needs. Grange Co-op has Rogue Feeds available for horses, cattle, sheep, goats, hogs, and poultry as well as a complete line of straight grains.
Since the 60’s, when the bulk fertilizer plant was built next to the feed mill, Grange Co-op has been providing farmers with top-quality Rogue Fertilizers. Grange Co-op offers conventional and organic fertilizers which are blended at the plant to meet the demands of our region. Other products offered to the agricultural community include crop protection products like herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides, and rentals of fertilizer spreaders. The local agricultural community and landscapers not only trust Grange Co-op for the best products, but also receive expert advice, consultation and other services from Grange Co-op’s Fertilizer & Professional Products including field calls and soil samples.
Grange Co-op takes great pride in carrying a wide selection of products including: farm and ranch, lawn and garden, pet food and supplies, wild bird food and supplies, unique gift items, holiday-themed gifts, patio furniture, barbecues and supplies, clothing and footwear for the whole family, as well as carrying an ever-growing hardware selection. Grange Co-op also carries rental equipment for farm, ranch, lawn and garden. With years of experience and knowledge, the staff has built a reputation on giving the personal touch when providing customers with valuable information.
Grange Co-op has grown steadily over the last eight decades to include seven retail stores, including stores in White City (2008), an expanded location in Klamath Falls (2009), and our largest store in Yuba City (2017). The original White City store opened in 2008, and thanks to the support of customers was quickly outgrown. In 2023, after expansive construction, the White City retail location was built and moved to better serve the Upper Rogue community. The increased retail space from 9,500 sq ft to over 22,000 sq ft, as well as increased nursery from 2,800 sq ft to 15,500 sq ft made this location Grange Co-op's second largest retail store and houses the company's new Business Office. The White City store also features the company's first do-it-yourself dog wash station, and a Mellelo coffee bar. South of the Rogue Valley, Grange Co-op Yuba City provides a reliable supply of goods for residents of Yuba and Sutter Counties, featuring a complete selection of products for the farm, ranch, lawn and garden, including feed, fertilizer, bedding plants, nursery stock, pet food and supplies, and more. The Klamath Falls store expanded from 5,000 to 22,000 square feet of retail space, and serves the Klamath Basin with the full line of goods and services offered at all other Grange Co-op stores in Southern Oregon. The store has expanded its selection in farm, home, garden and pet areas, and now offers automotive, hardware, clothing and sporting goods.
As an organization that constantly looks to the future, the cooperative has continued to grow by helping Southern Oregon and Northern California farmers and ranchers grow. Grange Co-op has also seen the changes in the Rogue Valley over the years and responded by offering the products and services our customers need. In early 2013, GrangeCoop.com began offering customers the option to purchase many of our popular products online. With a steadily growing assortment, we’re proud to offer the ability to research product information and shop from your home or mobile device alongside our already frequently visited GrangeKnows articles. It’s another way we’re proving our commitment to be your source for products and information whenever and wherever you need it. With our In-Store Pickup feature, you can take advantage of all the convenience of shopping online with the no-cost option of picking up your items at any Grange Co-op retail store.
With tremendous vision and a willingness to expand our horizons, Grange Co-op has proven to be a cornerstone of the community. Whether it’s supporting 4-H and FFA members or paying out patronage dividends to our patrons, Grange Co-op continues to focus on the future by constantly adjusting to meet the needs of today’s customers.
