Down To Earth’s Granular Humic Acids is a highly concentrated source of humic substances that is ideal for use on fields, turf and vegetable gardens. Carefully mined from one of the world’s richest deposits, DTE Granular Humic Acids is derived from the ancient remains of decomposed organic plant materials. Naturally occurring, unaltered oxidized lignite, DTE Granular Humic Acids are crushed, screened and graded to a particle size of 1-3mm.

Application Rates
2 cups ≈ 1 lb; ¼ cup ≈ 2 oz; 1 tbsp ≈ 0.5 oz.
Vegetable Gardens & Flower Beds
To prepare new gardens, apply 1-2 lb per 100 sq. ft. and thoroughly mix into the top 3″ of garden soil in spring or fall. For new transplants, add 1 tbsp per hole, mix into soil and water in well.
Row Crops/Acreage
Apply 75-150 lb per acre. Apply in early spring, either pre-plant or with seed, or in the fall, post-harvest. Can be applied to all crops.
Containers
For new plantings, add 1-2 tsp per gal of soil and mix thoroughly OR add 1-2 lb per cu yard. For established plants, lightly mix 1-2 tsp per gal into the soil surface every other month during the growing season.
Lawns
In spring and fall, apply 10 lb per 1,000 sq. ft. and water in well. Results may be enhanced if applied following aeration. For new lawns, apply 10 lb per 1,000 sq. ft. and mix into top 3″ of soil before seeding or sodding.
