Recipe: Oat Cakes
Oat Cakes
Yield: Makes five 5 inch cakes
Ingredients
1 1/2 cup Oat Scone Mix
3/4 cup Quick Cooking Rolled Oats
3 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon cream of tarter
1/2 cup melted butter
2 tablespoons water
Cooking Directions
Mix dry ingredients in bowl.
Add melted butter and mix until crumbly.

Baby Pheasants, Chukar, and Quail require a brooder temperature of approximately 95 degrees for the first week, dropping approximately 5 degrees every 3 days or so until the end of the brooding period. They will feather out quickly, so they do not require as much heat as chickens and turkeys. Recipe: Our Very Best Pie Crust
What's Needed:
1 cup Unbleached White Flour
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup chopped pecans
The Steps:
Mix flour, butter, powdered sugar and pecans until they come together for a crust.
Pat into a pie pan. Do not turn over edges of pan.
Bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes, then cool.
