Suggested Produce for Rabbits

A rabbit’s diet should consist of:
75% grass hay,20% fortified pellets, and 5% treats.
Good Vegetables Rabbits Can Eat:
- Alfalfa Sprouts
- Artichoke leaves
- Arugula
- Asparagus
- Baby Sweetcorns (but not full size ones)
- Beetroot (can cause gas, feed in moderation)
- Broccoli (can cause gas, feed in moderation)
- Brussel Sprouts (leaves and sprouts - can cause gas, feed in moderation)
- Cabbage (can sometimes cause digestive upsets - can cause gas, feed in moderation)
- Carrots & carrot tops (not the roots as they are high in sugars. Limited Carrots; due to high sugar content)
- Cauliflower
- Celeriac
- Celery leaves
- Chicory
- Chives (in moderation)
- Courgette
- Cucumber
- Curly Kale
- Dill
- Fennel
- Green beans
- Green pepper
- Kohlrabi
- Mint
- Peas (including the leaves and pods)
- Peppers (red, green and yellow)
- Pumpkin
- Radish Tops - Can cause gas, keep it limited
- Rocket
- Romaine lettuce (NO Iceberg)
- Spinach (can cause gas, feed in moderation)
- Spring Greens
- Squash Swede
- Turnip
- Watercress
- Watermelon
- Wheat grass
Good Fruits Rabbits Can Eat:
No Seed or Pits – Give Fruit Only as a treat!
- Apple (the seeds are poisonous!)
- Apricot
- Banana
- Blackberries
- Blueberries
- Cherries (the pits are poisonous!)
- Grapes
- Kiwi Fruit
- Mango
- Melon
- Nectarines
- Papaya
- Peaches
- Pears
- Pineapple
- Plums
- Raspberries
- Strawberries
- Tomatoes (NO leaves)
