How To Use

Apply directly to pool water. Use only a clean, dry scoop to measure the product; do not use the scoop for any other purpose. Do not use in a floater or feeder. While the filter pump is running, add the recommended dosage of this product during evening hours. When adding this product to your pool, broadcast the product evenly over a wide area in the deepest part of the pool. If any granules settle to the bottom of the pool, use a brush to disperse them to prevent the bleaching of a liner or other damage to the pool surface. Test free available chlorine (fac) residual with HTH multi-purpose 6-way test strips, sold separately. Do not enter pool until the fac residual is 1-4 ppm (parts per million). Do not use the pool if the fac residual is above 4 ppm due to risk of bodily injury.

How To Use HTH Chlorinating Granules

Test And Balance

Dip an HTH multi-purpose 6-way test strip (sold separately) into the water to measure total alkalinity, ph, free available chlorine (fac), calcium hardness and cyanuric acid (cya) or stabilizer. Test the water and adjust alkalinity and other parameters where necessary.

Apply Directly To Water

Use a clean, dry scoop; do not use the scoop for other purposes. Add the recommended dosage during evening hours while the filter pump is running. Ensure that the product is broadcast evenly over a wide area in the deepest part of the pool.

Wait And Test Chlorine Levels
