Liquid Nails Subfloor & Deck Construction Adhesive (LN-902/LNP-902) permanently bonds wet, frozen and treated lumber, bridging gaps up to 3/8". This extreme temperature formula is also ideal for bonding most common building materials and is certified by UL Environment to meet the GREENGUARD Gold Standard as a low emitting material. Also, certified by PFS Corporation, an independent, third-party laboratory, to meet the requirements of the American Plywood Association AFG-01 specification for adhesives for field gluing subflooring.

Features>/h5>
  • Extreme temperature formula
  • Guns easily in temperatures down to 22°F
  • Bonds to wet and frozen lumber
  • Helps reduce floor squeaks
Area Preparation

Preparation: Surfaces must be clean, dry and structurally sound. Condition adhesive to at least 40°F (4°C) for easier gunning. adhere materials within 15-20 min of gunning adhesive. Make sure skin of bead is broken; if not, scrape off and apply fresh bead.

Subflooring (convention tongue and groove): For added strength and to prevent squeaking, lay one 1/4" (.64 cm) zigzag adhesive bead on each joist. On supporting joists where sheets meet, lay two zigzag 1/4" beads for added strength and to prevent squeaking. Lay sheets with plywood face grain at right angle to joists. Space joists the thickness of a putty knife to allow for wood expansion. Nail section into place 6" on center around edges and 12" on center in center on all joists. Subfloor must be under roof within 6 weeks of construction. For additional information regarding subfloors, refer to the American Plywood Association (APA) bulletin, “APA Glued Floor System”.

Transition Strips and Thresholds: Apply adhesive along the entire length in 1/4" wide beads, spaced 2" apart, recessed 1/2" to 1" from the edges. For transition strips and thresholds less than 3" wide, a single bead will be sufficient. (For stair treads, we recommend using LN-602 or LN-903. Consult technical service for specific instructions.)

Foam Insulation, Foamboard, Paneling, Corkboard, etc. to Flat Surfaces: Apply a 1/4" (.64 cm) bead near the outside edges and throughout field in lines 12" apart.

Other Substrates: Follow manufacturer’s instructions. Allow 24 hours drying time before using construction area.

Specifications
  • Size: 10 oz
  • Coverage: 30 Lineal ft. Using 1/4" Bead
